The flap that runs across the front of the hat, above the brim, is not sewn down, and it is folded in half on itself -- so that it unravels upwards and does not stay evenly "folded" Also, the material is not so thick as I would have liked it to be. The color is good ! A nice navy blue and it will be "good enough" to protect me from the cold weather so I'm too lazy to mail it back and will wear it sometimes ~
