I bring this bag anytime I travel. It's not a huge pack, but it's just enough room for the essentials (change of clothes, some electronics, books, etc.). I especially like being able to tuck something like a jacket under front flap when I don't feel like carrying it.

Made by ABO Gear, this backpack is modeled after bags used during World War I by "diggers," which were soldiers from Australia and New Zealand. Highlights include a roomy, fully lined interior along with a leather carry handle, a carry tag, ample pockets, and extra padding. The pack is ideal for day hikes or as a book bag for school. Pockets on the front and sides are handy for storing your cell phone, your MP3 players, and other extra gear. This product is made in India and measures 16 inches high by 12 inches wide by 6 inches deep.

The Digger is modeled after bags used by Australian and New Zealand soldiers in World War I.

About ABO Gear
Short for Australian Beach Outdoor, ABO Gear opened in 1995 with a mission of making outdoor life more comfortable. In the ensuing years, the company has moved in a more pet-focused, sustainability-oriented direction. ABO Gear tests all its pet products on employee's dogs and maintains a partnership with Barking Hound Village Foundation (BHVF) in Atlanta. BHVF rescues dogs slated for euthanasia in local city and counter shelters and transports them to no-kill rescues across the East Coast. ABO Gear is currently based in downtown Decatur, Georgia, with a 50,000-square-foot warehouse and fulfillment center in Murphy, North Carolina.
