I don't know what all the other reviewers expected for six dollars, but I'm very pleased with this slicker. I bought two for my boys to use on a vacation in the mountains, and they've been very functional. It's true that they are not designed for heavy use, more for occasional thunderstorms, but that seemed clear to me when I bought it. If people want a raincoat that will hold up to daily use, they ought to be smart enough to know that they'll have to pay more than 5.99.
