With my second pregnancy I began investigating nursing gowns. I had bad memories of wearing my nursing bra to bed with my first daughter (very neccessary as I'm a big-time leaker and I NEED to have nursing pads on at all times). I wanted to see if there was any kind of gown that would allow me to wear nursing pads but NOT have to wear a bra. This is it! These gowns perfectly hold nursing pads in place but that's just the first of there many assets! The fabric is unbelievably comfortable...I seriously wore mine like a uniform in the first couple weeks post-partum. It is so cute it could be mistaken for a dress. I didn't feel weird letting people see me hanging out in it during the day because it was so adorable! The length is really nice, goes just below the knee on me and has nice slits on both sides for easy movement. I have washed and dried mine so many times in the 4 months I've been wearing them. This is the first gown I put on after my baby was born and she is 17 weeks today and I'm wearing one as I type this now! I literally have been living in them. I think the biggest testimony is that I am totally on a budget...left my full-time job to be a "mommy" yet I've still managed to buy SIX sets...5 gowns, 1 pair of pajamas. That is because I really do believe they are worth every penny! As far as fit, I think you'll be happy getting the size you normally wear in other clothes. I am about a B cup/C cup when engorged...5'7" 120 lbs and the small fits perfectly. It just stretches where it needs to yet holds everything in place! I truly cannot recommend these gowns enough. Oh! I had read something about customer service issues? I had EXACTLY the opposite experience! My mother-in-law bought me a medium and they happily exchanged it so I could have a small which fit me better. Another time I got a color and changed my mind and again they did a no hassle return. I think the customer service was great!
Sorry so long, I tend to get excited about products I really love. Do yourself a favor and try one - you'll probably end up like me and have a drawer full of them! :)
