Customer Review: Nice leather portfolio
Rating: 4 Stars

I have purchased both the black and the brown leather portfolios from Amerileather. I should note that they are not the same portfolios in different colors. The brown leather portfolio is more rugged, and it has flaps/pockets on each outside panel. The black leather portfolio does not have the external flaps/pockets. Both the black and the brown leather portfolios have white stitching, which may be a concern for those interested in the black leather portfolio. The black leather portfolio is more formal than the brown leather portfolio, but it is not a proper formal black leather portfolio. It falls in between casual and formal. If you wear a suit and tie to work everyday, then you are likely to want a black leather portfolio that is more formal than this one. Both portfolios are of good quality and good value.

This portfolio cover arrived as scheduled via UPS. I was surprised it did not include the writing pad itself. The description is a bit misleading: "a zippered enclosure holds an 8.5 x 11 notepad," and a picture with a pad...oh well. The outside has white top stitching along the edges, something that is not shown or mentioned. If I had known I would have chosen another, as I prefer black stitching on black leather; it's a bit more elegant.
