I was looking for something to carry my key and MP3 player while out jogging. I found this item at a local shop and it seemed like a prefect solution for me. It's small, light, and seemed like it would securely hold my items.
After my first run with it I was totally blown away! It clips super-secure to a waistband and fits my (small USB drive-sized) MP3 player with a tiny gap in the top which allows for headphone cord. The clip is very well designed. Once clipped onto the waistband it will NOT come loose unless you want it to. Also, the clip is separate from the pouch opening which makes it possible to open it and get to the contents without taking it off. The closure velcros in two places making it impossible to lose anything while moving.
The best thing about it though is its unobtrusiveness. The packaging boasts that, "it's so comfortable that you'll forget it's there" (or something along those lines). And you know what? It's right! Clipped to the back of my shorts I couldn't even feel it and after starting my run never had to worry about adjusting it.
For all of these reasons this item is prefect for any runner, but I could easily see using this on hikes, traveling, or just about any physical activity imaginable.
One word of advice though: It's not that big. Look at the description above for the inner dimensions and measure any items you want to put in it to make sure it's right for you.
