Customer Review: good for pressing buttons on the screen

When I bought the iPhone 3GS, the sales from Apple store told me that the touch screen only interacts with human fingers and will not react with a stylus. I found this item and would like to give it a try. It works fine with pressing buttons on the screen such as making a call, or typing words on the on-screen keyboard. It does not really work with flipping pages or scrolling, which is moving up and down, left and right on the screen. Sometimes it worked after several tries, but it's faster to use just my finger. This stylus is a great value for the price. Typing on the iPhone is now easier with the landscape keyboard, but I like to use the pen with applications such as Facebook that have the tiny keyboard. The drawbacKs are that you have to press the screen a little harder and with the full oval surface. After several days of use, I became used to holding the stylus at a comfortable angle and typed pretty fast. I am amazed that the stylus worked and was only about $3!Customer Review: Stylus Pen

I bought this stylus because it was on sale for $0.99 instead of the usual $19 price.
I had recently bought my mother an iphone and she like to use this stylus when composing messages instead of using her fingers as she finds it easier.
The stylus is nice - although it is not worth the normal price of $19 - if you can find this for $5 or less than I would buy one - but based on the construction of the pen it is not a good value at $19

I have large fingers and almost always ended up hitting the wrong key. The only solution, though not ideal, was to get this stylus. It works as advertised. When I received it, I was a little skeptical at first because it looks and feels flimsy. But as long as it works, that's all I care about. That being said, this does not work on my iPad at all, it is way too lightweight for it. I guess I'll see if I can find a more well constructed stylus.Customer Review: The iPhone Stylus works

For those of you who hate getting greasy finger smudges all over your iPhone screen, this stylus is great. It works best for general navigation. If you have any drawing apps or games that require precision, this doesn't work so well though.
