The clip looks good and functions as advertised. It does feel a little bulky in a front pocket of regular fit blue jeans. I ride the Metro in DC and had to remove my magnetic Smartrip card to have it read at the turnstile. So it's back to using a regular wallet for me because the leather does not interfere with card readers.Customer Review: great for the price

bought this as a christmas gift, he absolutely loves it since there is a ID slot, but it's not big enough to carry a lot of ID/Cards
he basically stopped using the wallet the moment I gave this to him. great buy!

I decided to try this money clip because of the great reviews, and I hate carrying anything of bulk in my pockets. On most outings, I'd be satisfied with my drivers license, a credit card, and some cash- so this seemed like the perfect way to carry that. It only took one try to realize this clip wasn't going to work for me.
There are two problems. Both design flaws. If you plan on carrying just one or two cards, there's not enough tension in the card holding side to keep them secure. I can picture one or both cards falling out if you take it out of your pocket at the wrong angle. You'll need to carry at least three cards to keep them secure, kind of defeating the minimalist approach. The second problem is more personal: this clip has "pointy" corners on both sides- so there's always something digging into you thigh. The build quality is good, and the edges are smooth, but the design means there's no smooth side, regardless of which side you flip it (don't let the pictures fool you). My leather wallet doesn't do this, so even though its bulkier, its more comfortable.
2 stars for build quality, I'm sure it'd last a life time in the right person's pocket, but not mine...

The quality of the clip was ok, but it was ackward to use the card part. Cards went in ok, but trying to easily pull out just one was a problem. This may be ok if you only carry 2 cards, but more than that would be asking for trouble. I tried to put about 5 cards in - then trying to access one caused them to fly out. It was a little more bulky than I was looking for, but still can be ok in a front pocket.Customer Review: Bulky

I tried this as something new instead of a wallet for travel. It is quite bulky in my pocket & I noticed it more than my wallet in my front pocket when I would sit down (hard corners). It has a pretty aggressive clip that holds the cash well but it is hard to get the money in and out under the clip. I am going back to the wallet.
