Customer Review: Waterproofs moc toe boots!!

I just went out and bought a pair of boots with the moc toe.Typically moc toe boots leak around the moc toe part of the boots because of the seams regardless if they are waterproof or made by a big name boot company..Before i bought the boots i read the reviews on them and people did say they were having problems with water entering the boot around the moc toe area.I bought some of this Sno Seal and came home and applied it to my brand new boots before wearing them for i didnt want water coming through them like others have said.

I really caked this Sno Seal on my boots especially around the moc toe part.I let them dry overnight and i hit the boots with a hairdryer as well to melt some of the Sno Seal to help penetrate into the leather.I have been wearing the boots now for about a month beating them up pretty good but had yet to put them underwater.I brought the boots in the house and i went into the bathroom and filled up the sink with water.I submerged the boots up and over the moc toe part just up to the bottom of the tongue and left them there for about 30 seconds.NOT ONE DROP of water had penetrated the boots.

Conclusion---the boots i bought were suppose to be waterproof anyway but i wasnt taking any chances to see if they were or not before i applied the Sno Seal.Like i said,these were moc toe boots and i caked this Sno Seal on the whole boot especially around the moc toe part and let dry.I never tried to see if the boots were really waterproof before using the Sno Seal but there isnt any water coming in the boots at all.Not even around the moc toe part like most boots have a problem with.

So you decide for yourself if this stuff works or not,but im a firm believer in it especially for moc toe boots.One other thing--this stuff will turn your boots a bit darker after applying it but to me thats no big deal.
