I bought these slippers because I am a diabetic and needed non-slip footwear. The sizing was roomy enough to accommodate swelling feet, and they worked well at first. After a few wearings and washings however, the soles lost their "non-slip" properties and became more of a risk than bare feet. I ended up throwing them all out after a few strained muscles from slips and near falls.
