Customer Review: OK overall, not what I had hoped for

This bag was so cute in the picture and I was very eager to get it to replace a worn out Prada one about the same size.
When it arrived I was shocked by how heavy it was...a quilted fabric bag no more than 10 x 6 x 2 and it seemed to weigh five pounds. Most of the weight turned out to be the chain strap, so if I do use it I will probably opt to use the much less attractive optional web strap that was included.

The next disappointment was the overall functionality of the bag. The zippers start on an angle at each side of the bag so you have to tug awkwardly to get them moving and they seem like they would be frustrating if you were trying to access something inside quickly. The bag is also divided into two main sections but each is tiny. It would have been a more useful design with one main compartment with one zipper going across the top in the middle of the bag. There is also one pocket with a zipper on the front of the bag that would be useful if you needed a place to store two quarters but I can't think of anything else it would be good for. It looks too small for a business card without shredding the corners pulling them in and out.

Overall I was less than impressed with the design and functionality of this bag although I think it looks great. I doubt I would buy this brand again.
