The concept is ingenious, but 1. They should make summer friendly versions...maybe high elastic mesh fabric that can breath. All that extra fabric around your middle in the summer - for a pedestrian-centric city is really hot and uncomfortable. As a result, I didn't get as much use out of it during my first trimester, when it is supposed to be the ideal solution for getting into your regular clothes. After 1st trimester, you're pretty much ready for maternity clothes! 2. The fabric pills even before 1 washing. 3. Elasticity could be better. I bought a small, and still found that my pants would slip a bit when I sat down, causing a dumpy butt look. I went to the ladies room often to straighten things out. It was a bit a hassle. Reasonable option to have if you want to make use of your pre-pregnancy pants. You have to get used to wearing your pants unbuttoned and unzipped under the belly band. There is also a slight discomfort factor during warm/humid weather because of an extra layer of fabric around your belly.Customer Review: not what you expect

doesn't really pull your belly in or give extra support, just extends your shirts so your belly doesn't poke out. great for 1st and 2nd trimester when you can still wear some of your normal clothes and not quite into maternity. but just extra layers in 3rd trimester.Customer Review: Does the job!

I purchased these belly bands during my 1st trimester to save $$$ on maternity pants. Now 6 months later in my first pregnancy and I'm still wearing pre-pregnancy pants with these belly bands. They take a little getting used to at first, but overall I have found them to be very comfortable and definitely worth it!Customer Review: Great Product at a Great Price!!!

This is just as good as the Bella band except a better price (I can't tell a difference and I have purchased both). I would say if you are a size 0 or 1 to begin with, that you will have to wait till your a little bigger to actually use it to hold up your pants, but still works great to make your shirts longer. I love this product.
