I wasn't real thrilled with the product only because it wasn't as 'sturdy' as I thought it would be and it was WAY too long. I am 5'1", so may be it's because I have a short torso. However, it's a functional item that a lot of people love, I just happen to like Belly Band better, even though it's more expensive.Customer Review: Not really recommended if you carry low

I suspect that this product works better if you carry high instead of low. Because I carry very low, the band needs to be very low down to cover my unzipped pants, and keeps riding up. Folding it in half or in fourths helps to keep it tighter. It may be more useful post-partum.Customer Review: Not very helpful

I was at 12 weeks and my jeans were VERY uncomfortable. I ordered this after reading the reviews here but eventually went out to buy my own at Target since this item wasn't going to get here soon enough. Now that I have them both, I love my target one better. It's called a beband and it's made by bellaband. i was a size 2 (preprego) and just went with the smallest size for both products. The beband at Target fit a lot better and for the most part, held up my pants. The trick was to make sure the band went down LOW past my hips and right to the end of my buttocks. Otherwise, I'd always be adjusting it everytime I got up from sitting. This bellyband was WAY too big, even for a small size. And it was not very stretchy so I can't see it holding my pants up at all. The beband at Target was not very tight on me. My running tights felt tighter than these (before prego of course). They were both roughly the same price except with the belly band, I had to pay shipping (so really, the Target one was cheaper). That was my take. i'm going to keep this bellyband anyway and maybe when i get bigger it'll work better. But for now, I was quite satisfied with my Target one. :) Hope that helps.Customer Review: Disappointed with product

I purchased this product at about 8 weeks of pregnancy. I started to use it at 9 weeks of pregnancy, when I could no longer button my jeans. I ordered the 0-6 size, although I wear a size 6 or 8 normally. I was a little concerned that I ordered the smaller size, and while I waited for the product, I wondered if a larger size would be better.
This product did not help my jeans stay on, or cinch itself to my waist. It felt as if I had just another t-shirt on. I often found that I had worked up to around my waist, revealing the rubberband that was holding my jeans up.
I do not recommend this product. You will be better off purchasing a larger size of jeans or a pair of maternity pants.

I recently purchased a belly band at 15 weeks pregnant. I have some maternity pants that are a little too big and some of my regular jeans that are a little too small so this seemed like the perfect solution. I've worn it a few times and it does hold my pants up but requires A LOT of adjusting. It bunches all around and always rides up above the back of the pants. I'm in and out of a desk chair many times during the day which I'm sure adds to this problem. Everytime I get up or sit down I have to pull the band back into place. It may come in more handy later on in the pregnancy but right now it's just a hassle.
