I bought this bag because I loved all of the compartments, the size, the variety of colors (I bought Steel Blue and it's perfect!)over the shoulder strap, and the reviews say it's washable. I travel a lot and anyone who carries luggage through the airport knows that a handbag that has short straps can be really cumbersome. My main goal was to get a cute bag that had a long adjustable strap (I'm only 4'11" and this bag fits right at my hip when the strap is shortened entirely). I bought this bag a few months ago for travel and I like it so much that I use it all the time.
Recently I visited Barcelona, Spain for vacation. Like any large city there are pickpocketers. Well, this bag was no match for the pickpocketer! Another feature that I didn't even think about is that it comes with a small wallet on a leash that attaches to the inside of the purse. At first I liked this feature because it helped me find my wallet easily. When I was sitting at a cafe in Barcelona a pickpocketer sat behind me while I had my bag sitting on the side of my chair. He had managed to unzip my bag without my knowing. Then he was struggling to get my wallet so I started to feel a lot of movement behind me and decided to pull my chair in. When I did this I realized that my bag was pulled really far behind me so I pulled it back to find that the bag was open wallet hanging out and unzipped! Thankfully, nothing was missing! I'm so thankful and appreciative of the design of the Baggallini! Thank you Baggallini for making cute bags with great function - you saved my vacation!!
