This little alarm gives me a little peace of mind when traveling in questionable location. Easy to use and set up. The batteries are pretty cheap to purchase, it does come with batteries. The alarm is pretty loud, will definitely wake you up and startle an intruder. I would consider purchasing this product in conjunction with a door stopper though to aid in your safety. This will not keep someone out, just let you know they're in. One thing to consider when looking for a similar product. I've been in countries where the hotel door opens out instead of in. This will work in this situation where a door stopper alarm will not do you any good.
