This alarm is very convenient and works as advertised. The only problem is that some doors do not fit tight enough to keep the probe from falling out and thus triggering a false alarm. So, you may want to pack a small shim along with the alarm.Customer Review: Works OK for some doors

This works as advertised. If the gap between the door and frame is too big it either won't work or it will fall out easily giving a false alarm.
