The cover seems to be okay. If you are wanting to connect the light securely to the ereader itself, it covers the top of the screen.Customer Review: Don't waste your money

I bought this for my new Nook and unfortunately, I got what I paid for... the best thing I can say is that at least I didn't spend a lot. The nook DOES fit inside the cover, in fact, with room to spare. It zips fine. I actually like the cover a lot. However, the elastic strap that slips over the nook... covers the last 1/2 inch or so of the nook's book-screen. I end up having to slip the nook up and slightly out of the case when I read it. Annoying...I have to wonder if this was really designed for a nook or for a kindle.
Also, the book light was dead on arrival. It takes 3 AAA batteries, and I've tried 2 brand new sets, verified I'm putting the batteries in the right way... the light won't turn on at all.
As soon as I find another case & light that I like at a good price, I will replace these.
