The coat is very warm (for cold days only--this is NOT a fall jacket) and my daughter seems quite comfortable in it. As a previous reviewer noted, the color is a bit different in real life (not as pretty as the picture), but it's not ugly. Just not as nice as the photo. I also have trouble keeping the hood on her head, but that happens to us with most jackets, so it may not be a problem for everyone. It's doing a great job of getting us through an unpleasantly cold winter--I'm never worried about how warm she is. I was happy enough with the coat that I purchased one in a larger size during a 40% off sale, but I wouldn't buy it again at its current price (28).
