I was looking for a men's rain jacket in a high-visibility color with a stowaway hood. I needed a jacket that packs easily and looks good for travel, is comfortable over a t-shirt in a sudden tropical squall or fits over layered clothing in a chilly wind. This is it. You could eaisily spend twice as much to get all the great features (listed under "Product Description").
I wore this jacket in a cold rain. Zipped up fully, the open spread collar becomes a turtle neck. The hood, after adjusting the elastic cinch cord one time, stretches slightly going over my head and then fits snugly around my face. I was comforable.
The attractive yellow color is bright enough to be visible in a deep purple thunderstorm or at night on a dimly lit street. The other colors are good-looking as well. When I was vacationing near the warf in Key West, I saw this jacket in a shop. Steve had all three colors but he didn't have a yellow one in my size. Happily, I found it on Amazon.
I haven't owned this jacket very long, but there are no other reviews posted yet so I'm putting this out now.
