These are great glasses, and I'm happy with my purchase. But there are some things you just can't tell from a photograph, and two such things surprised me when I saw the glasses up close and personal: 1. The "racing stripes" on the sides are painted on (not inlay). 2. I wonder what kind of plastic they're made out of. It sounds a bit brittle or cheap when tapped. But at this point I can't really say. . . Maybe they'll last forever!
