I really love my Bucky Bag. If you microwave it for 1 1/2-2 minutes, it will stay warm for a good 20-30 minutes. If you are using it in bed, it wil stay warm under the covers for several hours. It is very comforting for almost any ache or pain from sore muscles to a stomach ache. I like being able to go to sleep using it without worrying about safety as I would with an electric heating pad. The cover can be machine washed, but I usually hang it up to dry just to make sure it won't shrink.
