My 6-month old fits in the 15-22 lbs size very well. He is ~18.5 lbs and 25.5 in. He's been in the pool with them about 5 times for over 30 min each time and no issues with leakage, yet. The velcro is very secure (even tough to pull apart when you need to!). Plus, the pattern is just adorable!
