I have had one of these in black for many years and wanted a brown one to better match my new purse. One thing I hadn't noticed before I ordered is the texture on the different colors - my old black one is smooth leather. (I can't tell about the black one here - the picture is not good enough to see.) The texture is ok, although I prefer the smooth look. Most times when I am out shopping, I slip this wallet into my jacket pocket and leave the purse behind. I hate having to keep an eye on my bag while shopping and this wallet has everything I need! My only wish is that it held change a bit more securely - the front compartment is ok for loose change, but sometimes the coins make their way to the edges of the compartment and fall out when you next unzip it. I'm used to it by now, but wish they would have improved this after all these years. The front clear ID pocket is perfect for my subway pass or other ID card- I can tap it without removing it from the wallet.
