About Healtha+
Healtha+ is a multifunctional, lightweight, quick-dry fabric developed by Ventex. Nanotechnology has been used in the development of Healtha+, which consists of 90 percent polyester and 10 percent spandex yarns. This combination provides a comfortable fit and freedom of movement, as well as quick-dry moisture wicking capabilities.
The six-channel shape of Healtha+ fibers results in a capillary action pulling the sweat away from the skin's surface to the exterior of the fabric. Healtha+ yarn's wide surface area is also an intrinsic advantage over regular fibers. A wider surface area allows for greater moisture evaporation. This makes Healtha+ one of the fastest-drying textiles available.

Human Science Research Center, Kyoto, Japan: Study of electrical pulse activity in muscles
Muscles firing into motion were measured electromyographically for subjects wearing CW-X gear, subjects wearing competitor products, and subjects with bare legs. Electrical pulse activity decreased in unsupported and partly supported legs during exercise, indicative of fatigue. Legs supported by CW-X showed a negligible decrease in electrical pulse activity.

Human Science Research Center, Kyoto, Japan: Study of stability, impact, and motion
In this study, high-speed video analysis was used to compare stability, impact, and motion in CW-X products and regular compression gear. CW-X Support Web tights were 10 percent more stable and balanced and absorbed 12 percent more shock to the knee than regular compression tights. CW-X Support Web tops allowed 9 percent greater range of motion for the arm than regular compression tops.

This study measured VO2 oxygen uptake levels over the course of 15 minutes of running in CW-X gear, regular compression tights, and running shorts. CW-X Support Web tights showed 26 percent less oxygen use than regular compression tights and 36 percent less oxygen use than traditional running shorts, indicating lower energy expenditure.

I struggled for years mixing a large bust with running/jogging. I always had to wear two sports bras which was so uncomfortable and binding. I finally decided to do some research. I love this bra - it could be improved, but it works and I only have to wear one! After I knew I loved it, I purchased another. The picture is a bit misleading. You don't get that separation; you have to get in there and separate them yourself, but you still end up with the single boob look. I don't mind it because I only wear it for exercise. The bra works!!
Opportunities for Improvement
(1) It is the hardest bra to put on and take off. It seems there is something wrong with the clasp. Even my husband struggled to clasp it for me. I just keep it clasped and pull it on and off like a shirt. When you're sweaty this can be challenging.
(2) There is a little branding tag on the side of the left breast area that hits the inside of my left bicep when I run. Quite annoying, but a pair of scissors fixed that for me. :0)
(3) True cups without negatively impacting the support.

Just got two of these. The price was great, and I love my Wacoal bras for everyday, so I thought I'd gamble on these. Upshot is, they are good compression bras and at 39.95 apiece, a value comparable to my usual Champion sports bra. What you won't get, and they seem to promise, is separation between the breasts. Construction on the front is really just two large circles sewn onto a compression bra.
If you have to pay more than 39.95, pass. If what you really want is separation, pass. I bought these for soccer and running, and I am a DDD. Bouncing around the house, they seem to do the trick. I have 5 mile race tomorrow, and we'll see how they do then.
