CW-X Women's Xtra Support Bra II
Description of CW-X Women's Xtra Support Bra IIPerfect bra for active women who need extra support. Provides a flattering silhouette and support for medium to high impact activitiesEngineered for larger cup sizes (up to 38DD), the Xtra Support Bra combines extra motion control from the reinforced five-point Targeted Support System with the convenience of a back hook-and-clasp closure system. The patented five-point Targeted Support Web is reinforced with an extra layer of mesh webbing to provide optimum motion control. Coolmax/Lycra tricot fabric with Healtha+ mesh front panels provide moisture wicking and breathability for added comfort.
A stretch mesh internal venting channel under the bust provides breathability and moisture evaporation. Other features include a wide stretch band for extra support. Fabrics The genius at the heart of CW-X is an obedience to the structure of the body, made possible by two extraordinary fibers: Lycra and Coolmax. Coolmax moves moisture instantaneously from the body out to the fabric's outer surface, where it evaporates at twice the speed of cotton. So with CW-X Conditioning Wear, you remain cool at even the highest temperatures. When less energy goes toward cooling the body, more energy is left to help you excel. Lycra, on the other hand, possesses the unique ability to stretch yet retain its shape.
About Healtha+ The six-channel shape of Healtha+ fibers results in a capillary action pulling the sweat away from the skin's surface to the exterior of the fabric. Healtha+ yarn's wide surface area is also an intrinsic advantage over regular fibers. A wider surface area allows for greater moisture evaporation. This makes Healtha+ one of the fastest-drying textiles available. Healtha+ is also antibacterial and odorless through the application of silver dioxide fiber technology, preserving garment freshness. Integrated titanium oxide fiber technology protects against ultraviolet rays, providing UPF 50+.
For 40 years, scientists at Wacoal Human Science Research Center in Kyoto, Japan, have studied kinesiology, the science of human movement. They have tested over 35,000 people and analyzed injuries relative to warm-up and cool-down periods. They have come to understand the mechanics of joints and muscles in minute detail. This exhaustive study of body movement has culminated in over 50 patents worldwide. Below are some further studies demonstrating the performance-enhancing qualities of CW-X Conditioning Wear. This study measured VO2 oxygen uptake levels over the course of 15 minutes of running in CW-X gear, regular compression tights, and running shorts. CW-X Support Web tights showed 26 percent less oxygen use than regular compression tights and 36 percent less oxygen use than traditional running shorts, indicating lower energy expenditure. Apparel reviews of CW-X Women's Xtra Support Bra IICustomer Review: Not as good as I expected
I went to the store to try this bra on before I ordered it. I liked it in the store (altough it's very hard to put on), but I'm not as satisfied with the one I've just recieved. First of all it seems small. I'm a 38D and hardly can fit my "girls" in it. It presses my breast down and gives "mono boobs". The support is pretty good, but far from excellent. I have to admit it's very comfortable though because of the race back.
