I know this may be a bit early to look for a Halloween costume in the middle of June haha, but I figure I might as well get this situated before the mad rush in the fall to find a costume shop. Anyway after reading some of the previous reviews mentioning that it runs a bit big I decided to order a Small instead of Medium, which I was originally intending to do. The costume fits me perfectly! Also since I'm not as tall as the model pictured, the skirt is not too short for me.
The Little Red Riding Hood costume from California Costumes came in good condition in a plastic bag as costumes usually are displayed in stores. Everything listed on Amazon was there: the dress and the hood. I am very satisfied with the product. Everything was folded up in the bag and I noticed that the hood was very wrinkly so I ended up having to iron it. I'm just leaving it on a hanger for now. I did not notice any other design flaws with the costume or the petticoat under it, but I shall report back to see if it actually survives the night when it comes time!
This is sort of a side note, but I just noticed that this "Dorothy Costume" California Costume Women's Adult-Storybook Sweetheart is almost the exact same style as this one except it's in blue and minus the cape haha. I guess that's not too surprising since it's from the same company.
