I purchased two of these recently. One broke apart when I pulled it out of the cigarette lighter. The other shows up on my iPhone 3G is charging but my battery continues to drain. Started a trip with a full battery and had it plugged in using this charger. By the end of the trip I only had a quarter of battery left.Customer Review: What a Waste of the World's Resources

Completely fell apart upon the first use. To think someone bothered to waste the plastic, few bits of metal, and energy on producing such a poor quality item, then ship it across an ocean put it on a UPS truck and drive it to my door is curious at best. I bought two of these charger because they are in white color and cheap prices, but they did not work either for ipod classic and iphone 3G.
