Description of SHAWL - PASHMINA (LARGE) from Cashmere Pashmina Group- in 56 vibrant colorsUnfazed by the scientific age, pashmina shawls are hand spun the same way it has been done for centuries. The hairs are gathered from the Himalayan goat called Hircus, which lives at high altitudes, 12 to 14000 feet in the mountains. The Pashmina is gathered by hand, stored and combed by nomadic herders. The threads are hand woven on handlooms over a silk wrap, which gives the fabric resilience. Once the fabric is loomed, each piece is hand dyed in open vats. Afterwards it is given to the different craftsmen for hand-embroidery, beading and /or printing. They are very soft and luxurious in feel. These shawls are woven from the best quality of Cashmere Pashmina and Silk. These shawls can be worn as a wrap or a scarf. The size is 80 inches long and 36 inches wide and each shawl is finished with 2 or 2.5 inches long tassels. The fabric comprises of approximately 70% Cashmere Pashmina and 30% Silk. The combination of Cashmere and Silk makes the fabric versatile and resonating with color. The shawls are hand loomed in Nepal and India and are offered in a wide selection of vibrant colors. We recommend dry cleaning.
Apparel reviews of SHAWL - PASHMINA (LARGE) from Cashmere Pashmina Group- in 56 vibrant colorsCustomer Review: Pashmina shawl Rating: 4 Stars
I love the pashimina shawl ( 2) I purchased from CPG. The large shawl was
much larger than I expected. I am a tall woman. It was a great shawl for the price. Not as soft as a 200.00 shawl of course but a great value and very warm. I plan to purchase more for myself and for gifts. Shipping was fast and when my shawl was not immediately available I was called to see if I could wait 1 week.

Customer Review: Not quite the color advertised, but still lovely Rating: 4 Stars
Bought this for my grandma for xmas and she loved it. The shawl was soft, large, and warm. I gave this 4 stars b/c I ordered the eggplant color and this was not what I received...granted it was still a darker purple, but not the color shown on this palette. Seems to be fairly common with this product, but either way she liked it and I may order one for myself in another color.
Customer Review: Decent for the $$$ Rating: 3 Stars
I bought several of these shawls for gifts. Everyone liked them... even the hard to please young ladies. They are very light and soft shawls.
The only problem was picking the color. Getting the shade you really want is just luck because they do not give an accurate color swatch on computer. My suggestion... stay neutral.

Timley arrival. Beautiful color, it itches. I was disappointed. I will give it away to someone else. I will not buy another. I will caution others that it itches me. I have not been allergic to cashmere or silk in the past. I wanted to wear it on my trip to Europe.
Customer Review: Poor quality, coarse texture Rating: 2 Stars
I am surprised so many liked this product. This the worst quality cashmere product I've ever touched. It itches the skin. The original retail price is set to be extremely high and is misleading. Not worth the money.
