Excellent pant, technical without being gimmicky. I have skied extensively in them and they are warm, dry and comfortable in sun, heavy snow and much to my surprise in the rain as well. Only drawback was the price which was over $300 when I bought them and cost the rating 1 star.

Description of Cloudveil Men's RPK Pant

This daily ski partner to our RPK Parka charges hard from first untracked run to last après pint. Gore-Tex Soft Shell, which wears warmer, softer and quieter than old-school three-layer fabrics, also breathes well during on-hill hot laps or short, steep bootpacks. The utility pocket holds items you'd rather not lose, slash pockets make it easy to dig for a lighter and elastic tabs resize the waist when adding or subtracting layers under the shell.

Enjoy legendary Gore-Tex waterproof breathable PTFE membrane with stretch performance with the Gore-Tex Soft Shell, which features a three-layer fabric with two-way stretch. The plain weave durable face is both waterproof and breathable. This nylon/spandex face is combined with a unique flannel tricot lining that provides fleece-like comfort and added warmth. It's made from 94 percent nylon and 6 percent spandex. It has a 115 x 70 denier face with 100 percent polyester backer and weighs 220 grams per square meter.
