I've been looking for a hat with UPF that I can take on our upcoming vacation to Mexico, and wanted something that was light and packable, and that would look equally as cute at the beach or pool as it would walking around town. I originally ordered the Sun Protection Hat - Chloe Derby Sun Hat, and, while the Chloe hat is great, it seemed like it would be too large and cumbersome to take on vacation. The Marina hat from Coolibar will be perfect!
I ordered it in the tan color shown on the model, and it's a nice, neutral color that will go with anything. While it looks like straw in the photo, it's actually a densely woven fabric with no holes for the sun to get through. It's got a slightly asymmetrical look to it, with a slightly smaller rim in the back. That being said, it still has a wide enough brim on the back to cover your neck.
The interior band is also stretchy and moisture-wicking.
Just be warned that Coolibar's hats do tend to run a bit small. My head is 57 centimeters around, and this hat is snug. That'll be nice to keep it on in windy conditions, but if your head is just slightly larger than that, this may be too snug for you.
Overall, a great hat that is stylish and cute!
