Well I thought I was being thoughtful. My wife is pregnant and has a hard time carrying a purse on one side, plus she wants to bring her healthy snacks with her to work so I thought this would be perfect. Maybe if I'd bought the plaid one she'd have gone for it, but she thinks it looks dirty and won't carry it. So that's the missing star there.
Actually everybody who's seen me carry it has thought the bag was actually dirty, which surprised me. I really like the look. The straps fit really well and I can carry a lot of bee.... uh, sodas in it, even when I'm on my bicycle. It's plenty big and the zip pocket is just right for a phone, wallet, and keys and keeps it away from condensation from the cold section.
Sometimes on the bike, the weight of the bottles or cans in the lower section gets annoying as it rests right on my kidneys.
I'm looking forward to using it as the coolest diaper bag ever, too. Baby snacks in the bottom, clean diapers in the top.
