I actually picked up this bag because I walk from a parking lot to my office every day -- about 1.5 miles each way. I was looking for a bag that I could wear across my body and would be comfortable enough to walk some distance. I also needed a bag that would hold my handbag, a pair of shoes, an umbrella, my lunch and sometimes even my laptop. This bad does it all. I know it says it's for "girls" but it looks adult enough for a middle-aged woman too. Excellent quality and functional.
