Customer Review: Will Not Stand Up

Overall this is a good quality bag. It is not too heavy but still seems to be of sturdy construction. I think it is larger than what it is advertised as. My only complaint is that the bag will not stand up on it's end. The bag is in two sections that fold apart in the middle. The bottom of the bag has a solid outside, but the top half is soft. Even with the cleat on the bottom of the soft half the bag falls over as the soft half of the bag collapses. So when you roll up to the ticket counter be prepared to lean your bag against something or lay it flat as it will not stand up no matter how you pack it.

Based in Hood River, Oregon, DAKINE was founded in Maui, Hawai'i in 1979 by longtime surfer, Rob Kaplan. DAKINE'S first product, a revolutionary new surf leash, quickly gained worldwide popularity.
