I have worn these hose for years. Obviously they are made for dancers, but I have worn them to cover up scars and varicose and broken veins. Also they are head and shoulders above regular pantyhose and other brands of gloss tights that I have tried because the elastic in them is soft and flexible, and I believe this makes them last a very long time. Other brands of gloss tights don't have the same give, and they run and tear much faster, not to mention that they cost just as much or more than the Danskin brand. I ordered them because I am frustrated with trying to buy them in local dance supply stores. They always have some other brand which they defend like tigers. The only reason I can think of for this is the other companies must give them a bigger piece of the profit pie. An added bonus: Men think they are sexy.
