At first I wasn't sure about the "aviator" finish on the leather, but I have grown to love this bag. Because the aviator style already looks slightly aged, it feels like a bag you've had forever the moment you get it. Also, it doesn't show age much -- I've had it for a month and used it daily and it still looks new. I wanted a smaller vertical messenger bag because I hate the big wide ones that bang around on your legs as you walk. It's the perfect size to carry just the right amount of stuff and it has just the right amount of pockets inside. I've also toted 15 inch laptops in it -- it's suprisingly spacious. The black cotton strap is a good idea, as it stretches when you put the bag over your shoulder, making it more comfortable to carry. It's a great "man bag."

A retro-style vertical shoulder bag with a tapered 3" gusset. The gusset turns this into a surprisingly functional bag while still maintaining the sleek outline. If you like to travel but want to avoid the "touristy" look, then this bag is perfect for you!

Comes in two styles:
-Aviator: rough, crackle-textured split leather with a weathered look reminiscent of vintage aviator jackets (though the surface will soften with use);
-Classic: 100% vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather with its unique surface and unmistakable aroma.

Please note that this type of leather contains characteristic grains, wrinkles, tonal variations, and small blemishes which are preserved for the leather's natural beauty, rather than being buffed away to create an artificially even surface
