Customer Review: Not authentic, but still good

As stated in other reviews this hat is not leather, smaller, brown, and not the one shown in the picture. I bought it because the same hat in the stores cost $19.99. However, I don't thik it's a bad product.
It did come mashed up in a bag so it was all bent out of shape. I got it back to the shape that I wanted by putting each of the three corners under some heavy books, and alternated them for a few days. It is now back to the tri-corn shape I wanted.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the braids are relatively thin compared to the real Jack Sparrow, but I also bought the Red-Rubies Captain Cutthroat costume(which I highly recommend) and it has thicker braids.
It's a snug fit (on me and I'm an adult), comes with the braids, beads, and red bandana all sowed into the rim of the hat.
So if you are looking for the most authentic Jack Sparrow tricorn, then this is probably not it, but if you want to use it for just once a year at a party then it isn't bad for the price.
