Got this as a non-Birthday gift for my oldest nephew during his brother's Birthday. He has very light skin and he loves hats, so this was a great gift for him. This hat does the job as far as blocking the sun and giving you some portable shade in moderate sunny weather...but lets be honest, unless you're already pushing 55+ you're going to look ridiculous wearing this thing. When it's really hot I think this hat is more uncomfortable than no hat at all, so I'm not really sure I want to give this a high rating when I get better results just by using a baseball cap.
