Ear Mitts® are designed to fit securely on your ears, keeping them protected from the wind and cold. Three layers - soft and durable lightweight DuPontTM Teflon® fabric protector infused anti-pill fleece, 100 gram ThinsulateTM Insulation from 3M, and a fleece inner lining - keep warmth in and the wind and cold air out. A patented flexible polypropylene frame adjusts to your ears and becomes more comfortable the more you wear them. A stylish alternative to traditional scarves and band ear muffs, Ear Mitts® provide warmth and comfort without interfering with your hairstyle! They also fit comfortably under helmets, caps, stocking hats, hard hats - any headgear! The design permits unrestricted hearing during use. They keep the cold out decently enough but I only use them as a backup because I find them rather uncomfortable. As another review said, they do not work well with glasses. They also don't work well with earrings, even studs. I tried doing what someone else suggested and not clipping the bottom while wearing earrings and they fell off. The fleece doesn't feel as soft as I would expect and I think they're itchy. I got the regular size because I've never thought I had small ears, but if you think you might be on the border, opt for the smaller ones because they're more snug and secure that way. I must say I love the concept of these ear mitts. The problem I had was when wearing earrings they pinch and pull my ears and that is very uncomfortable. Without earrings they fit fine. Also, they come off very easily so if it's a windy day you might lose them. For the price I paid I wish they were a little more padded. I love Earbags bandless ear warmers. When my ears get cold, my jaws get tight and I get a nasty headache. Earbags is a wonderful solution and are so comfortable for me. So I thought I would try this brand, and then I would have a spare set on hand.
Well, these don't work as well for me. I gave them to my daughter. She does have larger ears than I. But these felt stiffer against my head. They are just not as comfortable and don't fit as well for me as Earbags. Back to the Earbags brand for me.
