This works well for holding the bottles in place while turning on the pump and turning it up - but you still need to use your hands a bit to apply pressure to the breasts while pumping (at least this was my experience). It looks very funny, and the fit is a little off - if I were you I'd buy a slightly larger size than you think you need. Just a word of warning: If you are large chested, this bra may not give you adequate support. I have been informed that the halter is a better choice for someone who is busty.
