Most women get at least 3 months when they can use Bellybelt to adapt their own clothes into maternity wear. If your Bellybelt feels uncomfortable in any way, we suggest you go up to the next belt size, or discontinue wearing. This is perfect when your regular clothes don't fit but you're not big enough for maternity clothes. I loved the fact that the extensions work with all my pants and that even when I get bigger I can still wear my regular clothes... The belly bands work great but the elastic eventually loses it's resistance and becomes more and more loose. Considering the purpose it was made for, it fits the bill.Customer Review: Didn't work for me

I didn't find this item very useful. The buttons and fastener did not stay attached to my pants. I tried it all the styles with a variety of pants, but had no luck. I ended up using the belly bands all the way through my pregnancy and didn't buy maternity pants until month 6 or 7.Customer Review: does not hold

This belt is not what I expected. What happens when I put it on is that my pants fall off. It's not practical for a pregnant figure so I ended up getting regular maternity pants. Customer Review: these didn't really work for me

I was excited to try these, but was disappointed. I felt exposed when I wore one, and it popped off my pants within 5 minutes! My husband looked at them to make sure I wasn't using them wrong, and he said I wasn't. It really is quite simple, so I'm not sure why they won't stay on my pants. Maybe I'm not big enough yet? I am 20+ weeks pregnant and looking for a way to wear my pre-pregnancy pants without them being buttoned, but this isn't something I can wear out of the house. I ordered a bella band instead, because I'm hoping the greater coverage will make them more secure. This is really just something to connect the button and button hole, with a small amount of fabric to cover your exposed area. If your shirt rode up, it would be clear your pants were undone; I think the band (which looks more like a layer) might be safer in that sense.
