I bought this because I looked high and low to find a nursing cover that did not feature the loudest pattern ever or look like I just stepped out of the dentist's office still sporting that paper apron thing they clip on. I purchased the Grunge color since it's a nice earth tone. Great color. Material is soft, not stiff, so you have to open the neck opening to check on the baby since it's not hefty enough to stay ajar. The only downside to this poncho is that it is not as wide as I had hoped. So when you have it buttoned up to use as a cover up you should remain vigilant in case you have a grabby baby that yanks it around and exposes you. Though this hasn't happened to me, I can see it coming. Otherwise, it's an adequate accessory. I use it daily to nurse in public since the color and style don't actually attract attention. Next time, however, I'll just buy a large scarf or pashmina that's wide enough for my liking and sew on my own buttons to make my own nursing poncho. It'd probably cost less this way.
