Customer Review: broken in 6 months, leaks, doesn't fit normal plates

I've had it less than six month and the hose that connects to the sink fell apart. Problems include leaking and you constantly have to tighten the hoses in the back and put a towel on the floor. Besides being too small to fit standard 10" dinner plates, the rack that pulls out is awkward, with prongs that don't allow for normal dish layering, instead you can only fill it halfway skipping every other one. Not the best apartment purchase I made, unless I can get a replacement hose promptly from Edgestar, this week I'm going to invest happier in a half sized rolling floor model that might be $100 more, but able to fit *all plates*. Not to mention it's super heavy! We had to purchase a stand because it doesn't fit between the counter and cabinets so it's a constant eyesore right in front of the sink.
-- update. it's now been two weeks since i've emailed edgestar several times about purchasing a replacement hose. i've received no response. my best advice is to spend the extra $100 and get one of those larger floor moving models.

I was so excited to be getting this dishwasher before it arrived. Once I did receive it we were able to operate it just fine. However, the wash cycle is ridiculously long. There is no dry cycle. And worst of all... the setup of the trays for holding your dishes is extremely strange and practically unusable. The shapes created by the way the carriage is designed and where the bars stick up, how far apart they are, limit the number and types of dishes that can be entered. Sincerely, you can only wash 4 cups, 4 plates, 4 bowls, etc. And they must be configured in the washer the way the thing was designed. It's a pain. I gave it away. I bought it originally because I felt that my silverware and tupperware were not looking "clean" after sink washing. I hoped the super hot electric washing would help. But now I just add a 1/2 cup of vinegar to my soapy sink water, and everything I wash by hand looks incredible! Do not buy anything Edgestar. If you have any problems with it they want to send you parts for you to fix, then keep sending the same parts, over and over. I purchased one of there products in April and have yet to use it as of now in July. Today they offered to send me more parts to fix it, or for me to pay for it to be shipped to them for repair. I am the consumer not the repair department why would do I need to keep replacing parts? Now I have to fit the bill to ship it to them, very bad company and customer service. I will never buy anything from this company again and will post everywhere warning other consumers not to as well.

This product stinks! It uses too much water and doesn't clean a damn thing even after I pre-soaked my dishes for an hour! I figure the positive reviews must be from shills. I'm sending this POS back!
