My Mikado pouch came in the mail today, and I've already had the satisfaction of using one while out shopping. My mom and I discovered Envirosax at a cute store in Montreal recently and were both impressed at how fantastic they are. After trying the one she bought for a few weeks, I knew I had to stock up for myself. They're super lightweight and really easy to roll up into a little sushi-sized bundle that's held shut by attached straps with snaps-- great because then you're not fussing with some separate pouch like with so many similar reusable bags. We both own many other bags, canvas and mesh and nylon, that too often get left behind in the car or at home. Envirosax are small and light enough that I will always keep one in my purse. And they're so cute and cheery, too!
Note: unlike the Flora line, which are printed on one side and a solid color on the other, the Mikado designs have prints on both sides. Go figure.
Update 8/14/08: It still makes me happy every time I whip out one of my pretty Envirosax at the market or at the mall. Functional and uplifting-- what more could you ask for?

I own both the Floral and Mikado designs, and absolutely love these bags! I leave one or two in my purse, they fold up so small! I would highly recommend them, I have had mine for about a year now and use them all the time with little wear and tear. Very sturdy and nicely constructed, I can't believe the stuff you can stuff into them! I also love that the straps are a little longer, so you can easily put them over your shoulder and get keys . . . your hands are free!
I love using these bags everywhere, from Home Depot to the mall to the grocery store to household items . . . files workout clothes, the list goes on! Again, I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend these! Great way to stifle the 1 million plus plastic bags that are used every day . . . I get comments on them all the time, and it's exciting to share them with friends! Everyone that sees them loves them!

I bought my 10 Envirosax at a big box membership discount store (begins with "C")- so if you live near one look for the Envirosax "event". Fifteen dollars for 5 bags- at that price I got extras to use as gift bags for large presents.
The sack itself is super easy to store, and very very pretty. I bought several fun colors. I already have other sacks (some from companies on Amazon)- and I have to say that what distinguishes Envirosax are their designs. These have to be some of the prettiest patterns I have ever seen. All the bags I have used store up small (small enough to stick in a large purse so you always have bags with you) and all the bags are roughly the same size.

The battle with constantly forgetting my reusable bags at home or in the car is over. These bags easily transform into a tiny roll that fit right in my purse, are great looking and are super strong. I am buying a 5 bag set to use as stocking stuffers for xmas. I want to share these bags with everyone. My first bag was given to me by a coworker when I had nearly given up on the reusable bag plan (because of my constantly forgetting them). I suggest that if you are interested in encouraging yourself and others to reduce and reuse, buy a couple of these bags. It is an inexpensive and pretty way to make a positive impact. I have a set of Envirosax bags in the Mikado pattern. The bags are light weight, strong, roomy, and elegant! The bags wash up nicely and are easy to refold. At first the plastic snaps were a little tight, but they loosened and now work well. They more than exceeded my expectations! Having beautiful bags helped me to get over my embarrassment at asking sales clerks to use them. While they are a tight fit in my medium small purse, I keep them in my car until needed and then put them in my purse for shopping trips. I have been delighted as the bags have been admired!
