Bought these for 5 and 8 yr old sons to use at Walt Disney World. They were the perfect size for holding a small snack, pressed coins and folded park maps. The straps were also sturdy enough to hold our refillable mugs; just looped the strap through the handle.
This isn't a big bag; don't expect to carry a bottle of water or autograph book in them. It is great for smaller items, especially snack items and cash. Review the measurements carefully; I found the bag to be exactly as described. They are a good size for younger folks to carry their own things around during the day.
The material is strong, and durable. After water rides, all day walking, and numerous spills, it still looked pretty good.
A terrific value for the money - we are taking them back on our next Disney trip.
