This is a great invention! It is clear so doesn't show through no matter what you are wearing. The only drawback I can see might be a low-cut back of the garment you are wearing.Customer Review: Colored fabric Strap-Mate works better than Clear Plastic One.

Like the other reviewer said, the clear color choice in this product is made of plastic and so it is slippery and won't stay adjsuted to your desired length. However, you can also buy this same item (Strap-Mate by Fashion Forms) in a beige, white, or black color which is made of elasticized fabric instead. This kind works much better because the fabric eliminates the slippery problem. The only seller I can find on Amazon or anywhere on the web that sells the colored fabric version is LADY GRACE, for the same price, $5.50 for one strap. You can also buy the Fashion Forms "Strap Connection" package with 2 straps for $8.50, but that is slightly different because it contains one actual Strap-Mate and one different kind of strap called a T-strap, which as far as I can tell from description, is much shorter and pulls the bra straps much tighter together, which may be harder to put on, if it fits at all, from what I've read in other reviews elsewhere. If you wear an extender to extend the band size of your bra, for example, your bra straps will be farther apart on your back and you may not be able to pull them together close enough to use the T-strap. In that case, use the Strap-Mate instead.
