Customer Review: Pretty wardrobe staple (esp. for the money!)

I always rely on a few wardrobe staples, and a 3/4 black coat is one of them. It just looks good with everything. You can wear it with jeans or wear it to work (and the 3/4 length is warm, but easy to maneuver in if you're driving.)
My second black coat was showing signs of wear when this item popped up. I never thought I'd be combing amazon's apparel section, but surprisingly, I've gotten some very good buys on things like this coat.
It is VERY well made. Nice fabric, a nice (not cheesey or cheap) lining, and enough extra room to wear a bulky sweater underneath without looking like you overdid the Christmas eggnog.
In my experience, black (or the charcoal color offered) just look more expensive than they really are, esp for wardrobe staples that can go to the most casual setting or the dressiest. This cost really fills the bill. And at this price ($73 at this writing), it is better than some of the $500 coats I've bought at Macy's!
