I was worried that this would ride up but because of the lace, I figured it was looser at the bottom and would not. It doesn't ride up much and it really does work miracles. I had a baby and have been having tummy fat issues and this tank lets me wear all my old fitted tee shirts. I have another similar shapewear camisole in similar fabric because some fabrics actually make you look fatter because it clings, but not this. My only compliant is that it can get a bit hot but it's worth it for what you get in return. If I have to pick between shapewear that clings to your clothes and makes you look fatter, something that rides up constantly, or something that can get a bit hot - I'll choose the hot one. I wear it in winter and it's fine. I love the ones that go under your bra and I suggest those the most. Another suggestion is if you tuck in the camisole it doesn't ride up.
