I bought these for dance class and I LOVE them. However, just as the others have said they are scratchy, so do heed the advice to wear tights underneath them. I have no problems with them; they do slide a little, but usually only after stretching and jumps. Otherwise, I find them very warm and would recommend them if you are looking for long leg warmers.
