After reading some of the reviews of this product, I had to add my own.
This has been a life saver. I tend to be a shoe collector--but as I've collected, I've acquired a few pair that are a little small, or could use a good stretch in places. I've taken some to the shoe repair for stretching but it is expensive AND often has to be repeated until it is "just right."
I bought this for my high heels (which are generally the ones with the comfort issues, of course). I am a size 9. Because of the reviews I had read previously, I bought a size MEDIUM (which is smaller than the chart would indicate). It works perfectly on ALL of my shoes, even my favorite 4" stilettos--the Guess Carrie. Please google that shoe and you'll see the shape--it is quite tall and pointy and it is FINE. I'm not sure if it would have worded had I ordered the stretcher in the "proper" size.
This product is HIGH quality. I didn't see any plastic parts that reviewers of other products mentioned--this one is SOLID!
