This is my first experience with a shoe stretcher but it did just what I needed. I have some loafers that were pinching my toes. After each shoe had a day in the stretcher, they are much better. By the way, if you are not in a huge hurry, just buy one. Since you will want to leave it in for a day or so, I would take an extra day to do two shoes but how often do you need to do this? Remember that you should crank it (to stretch) firmly put don't go crazy with it.

I read the reviews saying it was made with cheap plastic and not to turn it too hard, so what I did is put folded up pieces of paper in the stretcher so that it would stretch even further than the shoe stretcher itself. It worked for me. The key to being sucsessful is to go slowly and leave it overnight, you might have to do it several times before the shoe is streched out like you want.Customer Review: Good Stretcher

I'm very happy with this stretcher. I have a new pair of Reebok walking shoes that hurt my foot where my bunion is located. It worked great. I read the reviews so I was careful with the stretcher & didn't force it too hard, just a little at a time, with the stretcher spray.
